Swan Princess Fashion
influenced by the legends
and tales
of the frozen Baltic
Sea.
Shooting the Winter 2002 amongst the memories of age-old legends of
Russia, transcend the Lapin House girls to times of
Tsars, princesses and
dragons.
Little suede skirts and jackets and real leather and suede boots decorated with fringed and fur details are a must for this
winter.

| “Three
fair maidens, late one
night, sat and spun by
candlelight. "Were
our tsar to marry
me," Said the eldest
of the three, "I
would cook and I would
bake — Oh, what royal
feasts I'd make."
Said the second of the
three: "Were our tsar
to marry me, I would weave
a cloth of gold Fair and
wondrous to behold."
But the youngest of the
three murmured: "If
he married me— I would
give our tsar an heir handsome,
brave, beyond
compare." |

| Alexandr
(Sergeyvich) Pushkin is considered as Russian’s greatest poet of the 19th Century and the founder of modern Russian
literature. Pushkin wrote some 800 lyrics and a dozen narrative
poems. Great writers and artists such as L. Tolstoi and Tchaikovski were inspired
by the Pushkin fairy tale “The Tale of Tsar
Saltan, of His Son, the Glorious and Mighty Knight Prince Guidon
Saltonovich, and of the Fair
Swan-Princess” to create “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker”. |
